Financial analyst

• Provide restructuring services to distressed companies and creditor groups across all major industries to drive successful restructuring outcomes through Chapter 11 bankruptcy, M&A, refinancings, and liquidations in time-sensitive situations
• Create and review financial analyses and three-statement models focused on forecasting liquidity, optimizing financial structure, and sensitizing operating performance
• Review operating performance and key performance indicators and prepare variance reports versus business plan and historical financials
• Coordinate with company-side clients’ FP&A teams to identify financial needs, assess operating trends, create short-term budgets, and evaluate financing alternatives
• Prepare financial statements and monthly operating reports compliant with Chapter 11 bankruptcy procedures
• Research credit trends and financial statements of distressed firms to identify prospective restructuring clients and support ad-hoc business development efforts
• Performed monthly segment-level operating performance variance reports and liquidity analysis for the first-lien lenders to a ~$500M EV multinational commercial printing company, which was subsequently sold via cash and credit bid in Chapter 11
• Prepared and analyzed monthly operating reports and three-statement financials for a luxury American movie theater chain with $150M in annual revenue while collaborating directly with the Company’s FP&A department
